Pocket Acre

What you grow, and what you leave wild, decides who visits.

A small farm by day: a fenced yard with a house, a hen and a lab desk, a three-by-three field, berry bushes, mushrooms and a fruit tree in the grass. The same farm at night, the house windows lit and an owl sitting on the field.

The farm keeps your phone's hours. Dusk at five, night at seven.

How a visit goes

  1. Plant and water

A watered plot keeps growing while the phone is in your pocket, for as long as its water lasts. Ripe crops wait for you, and nothing withers.

  2. Leave some ground wild

Mushrooms, berry bushes and old trees grow in the grass. Pick them, or leave them standing for whoever likes them.

  3. See who came

Tap a visitor to greet it and it goes in your journal. Leave it a gift three times and it moves in.
